This is a funny little place, the food is decent and the location is nice if your puttering downtown, but the service is VERY lacking. The waitstaff are great, but seem very harried, I get the impression that they are very understaffed. I watch the servers running in every which direction, doing the best they can, but they can't be at everyones beck and call and that makes them seem inatentive. There is an older gal there who is downright rude, but for the most I think their trying. But still, anyplace where people are too busy to re-fill your $1.50 cup of coffee is someplace to skip.

The Little Diner everyone goes to but refuses to admit they kinda like it! I hear this all the time, but you know...??? I see the same complainers eating there all the time! I eat at this little diner all the time, yeah, ok, ill give you that the staff is a little rough at times, who wouldnt be under that kind of stress? Have you read the papers lately? We should thank the little cheerful and its staff for what they have accomplished... they are constantly busy, they fight off homeless, vagrants, drunks(@6am!!!) it seems to me that a cafe that has been around for almost 30 years and is as busy as they are, and have only got two complaints is doin pretty darn good! maybe try being nicer and youll get treated better...
