Great Happy Hour

by rcml65

Be sure to visit Skylarks Monday through Thursday for a Happy Hour menu that can't be beat. Lovely vintage atmosphere. A great place to relax and visit with friends. Don't expect the same on Friday, however!

Amazing food at great prices.

by Travelcat2

We have been going to Skylarks regularly for about a year -- mainly for their Happy Hour and monthly wine tasting. They have a wonderful appetizer menu for Happy Hour (including shrimp scampi) at very reasonable prices. A new "special" menu for lunch and dinner was added with lower prices -- trying to make it easier to dine out in the current economy. It is obvious that they care -- about the food quality -- about their customers and about their community.

The atmosphere in the bar area reminds me of an authentic English pub -- lovely fireplace -- lots of wood. The staff are warm and friendly. There is no reason not to go to Skylarks!

  • Pros: Food, atmosphere, staff
  • Cons: Parking

Ecclectic, liberal crowd would find this to their liking...maybe fine for a lunchtime sandwich...not my idea for a nice dinner.

Our favorite

My wife and I go to Skylark's often. We love the casual friendly service and quality food. We always bring our friends from out of town because we can afford to give them a really nice meal. The reastaurant is very small so sometimes it's full and we have to wait, but it's worth it.

  • Pros: friendly, affordable, good food
  • Cons: small, hard to find

One word....

ICKY!!!! Everything was way over done, perhaps because almost everything there is pre-cooked, think about it, where exactly is the kitchen? The TV dinner style cusine is not worth the big bucks.
