If you travel all the way to Bainbridge Island it isn't for the food, but the Winslow Way Cafe was at least passable in every category. We found some good items at okay prices.

Coming off of the Ferry after 9pm, my husband & I were worried we wouldn't find a place to eat, especially after walking around & seeing most everything closed. But at the Winslow Way Cafe the bartender, chef & waiter were truly friendly in inviting us & 2 other roaming couples in for even just the limited menu of pizzas or salads. In our own little intimate corner, we happily sat down amidst red walls & jazz instrumentals on cd. The pizza was tasty and the service was great!

I've been here many times throughout the past 10 years, and although some people SWEAR by it, I'm always disappointed with the cuisine and the service. The bistro-vibe is classy enough to call it fine dining, but the highschool service was of no help in choosing a wine, or getting to our table on time! Food was unremarkable and uninventive. Stick to the bar scene after hours to see a little of Bainbridge unwind over martinis and gossip.
