My husband and I tried this on a recommendation and we were so glad we did. The service was impeccable! The restaurant has a very charming and romantic feel to it. The food was GREAT!! They even had a childhood favorite of mine...fried mozzarella bread in the most perfect tomato sauce. The polenta was perfect! We had a great time. The prices are right on for the type of food you get.

This my husband's and my favorite place for a romantic dinner. Cafe Europa is a gem found in historic Portsmouth, VA. The European atmosphere, beautiful artwork, and ambient setting all make this restaurant THE place for a special celebration.The wine list is great, the menu is selective (very fresh).This is very fine dining - dress for it.

My family went to Cafe Europe back in February for my father's birthday. The service, food and entire experience was fantastic. I have never been treated so good at a restuarant. It is a little pricey, but well worth the money when everything that is served is fresh and a little on the exotic side. The food definitely challenges your taste buds.
