Volpi's is a great hometown restaurant. Volpi's is a hometown pleasure. The food is great, the atmosphere is great. We meet there with the "girls group" every so often and we always enjoy it. Large tables, great wine.

Unique place great food. The food was wonderful. I especially loved the clam chowder. The staff was very friendly. We ate there in September of 2008. We plan to visit the area again next month. We will probably make a trip over there just to eat again.

Family Style Rocks!. This is the best family style restaurant in Petaluma. I am a native Petaluma gal and love my small town. This a a sweet taste of Petaluma complete with a speak easy bar in the back. I absolutely love the palenta, prawns in white sauce, whisky steak, ravoli's and the wine selection is amazing. It is very causaul with red checkered table cloths, wax dripped candles and paper menus. Its perfect to bring the entire family or even celebrate a birthday. Its a family ran restaurant and it feels like your part of the family when you dine there. There is a piano and arcadin in the back. I have seen people dancing back at the bar and enjoyed some table top dancing myself. Eat at Volpi's and experience Petaluma!

Ciao!. This real Italian restaurant comes complete with home cooked large portions, family style service, Chianti and red-checkered tablecloths. The bar in back used to be a speakeasy is decorated with ancient dollars pinned to the tall ceiling, bench style seating and various animal heads on the wall. On a lucky night you may catch the Volpi family playing accordion and piano while singing your requests. The dollar beers cant be beat either. Buena Sera!!!

EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME!. VOLPI'S IS AN ITALIAN FAMILY OWNED RESTAURANT AND BAR IN PETALUMA, CA. RIGHT FROM THE MOMENT YOU WALK IN, A FRIENDLY FEELING CAME OVER ME. THE EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. THE DINING AT VOLPI'S IS DEVINE. MY FAVORITE WAS THE CHEF'S CHICKEN PICATTA. THE PORTIONS WERE HUGE. OREDER YOUR DINNER FAMILY STYLE. IN THE BACK OF THE RESTAURANT, THERE IS AN OLD FASHIONED BAR AT THE BACK WITH VERY FUN BARTENDERS. ON THE WALLS ARE PICTURES FROM THEIR DIFFERENT FAMILY OUTINGS, AND THERE FAMILY IS BIG. VOLPI'S IS A KIND OF MEETING AREA FOR THE TOWN FROM WHAT I LEARNED. EVEN WITH THAT, THEY WELCOMED ME INTO THE RESTUAURANT AND BAR IS IF I WERE ONE OF THEIR OWN. IF YOU ARE EVER IN PETALUMA, CA AND HAVE THE TIME, WAIT, MAKE THE TIME TO, VISIT VOLPI'S RESTAURANT AND BAR. TELL THEM THAT MATT FROM SACRAMENTO SAYS "HELLO."
