These guys are fabulous!! They came to my aid after the last winter storm and losing power for a week. The technicians replaced my suddenly dead water heater and re-did all the connections because the previous water heater had been improperly installed. I live in a remote area and the road in was still barely passable. Undaunted, they came across the fields to get to my house. They went above and beyond by a mile. The technicians were highly professional, extremely competent and really good guys on top of that. I have used them in the past and they just get better and better. The BEST!!

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 3/16/13. Jeff Cutshall provides the best service there is. We have used Roto Rooter twice now. The first time a couple of years ago for a broken hot water heater. Then this weekend he went above and beyond working into the wee hours of the night and returning the next day to finish after procuring supplies. Both times Jeff was dispatched to us and came very quickly. He is extremely helpful, explains all that he is doing and gives you all of the options available to remedy your issue. So few companies offer anything close to the level of service we've received from this company. We really appreciate having such a great plumber available to us.

A local plumber told me I would have to dig up my sewer line to find what was clogging my drain. Roto-rooter was able to send a camera though the line and fix the problem without touching the lawn saving me thousands of dollars. And the service tech was a pleasure to work with.

Roto-Rooter Plumbers, 11/23/12 Jeff was great on a last minute emergency! I needed a plumber to come out after I had a Thanksgiving day mashed potato incident with my sink. Finding a plumber in Charlottesville to come out on the same day was something I didn't think possible but he made it work and did great work as well! I would highly recommend to anyone in Charlottesville.

Normally I wouldn't go with a large company such as Roto-Rooter. I have a family plumber who has done all the work in my house and I have been very satisfied, but when I described the problem we had he recommended Jeff from Roto-Rooter.

When Jeff and his partner came out the same day I talked to him I already felt like a winner. I was thinking that it was going to be a couple days because my problem wasn't an emergency.

Every question I asked was answered clearly and with much more patience than I would expect out of any specialist, and when they dropped a camera down into my pipes I was even invited to check out the problem myself. Once it was diagnosed I was given several options and never felt like I was being pushed towards a more expensive service, and after the work was done he made sure that I knew what was going on and what to do if I had further problems.

I would recommend them in the future to anyone who needed help. Ask for Jeff Cutshall.

I had a water leak in my living room. I called Roto-Rooter to come fix it. The plumber came and said that it would cost $250, he finished the job in under 15 minutes, and only had to pay $180. Best plumbers in Charlottesville.

I had a serious backup in my draining system that prevented me from flushing any toilets or pouring water into any drain in the house. Jeff Cutshall, a plumber from Ruckersville Roto Rooter came to my house in Crozet (15-miles west of Charlottesville) and immediately got to the bottom of the problem. He was courteous, professional, and took the time to educate me about the cause of my problem and solutions to prevent the problem from occurring in the future. I would highly recommend Jeff without reservation. His work is guaranteed for six months which offers some peace of mind.

We needed a plumber to unclog a backed-up washing machine drainpipe, so I called Roto-Rooter in the Charlottesville area to schedule an appointment. Due to an earlier job that took our assigned plumber, Jeff Cutshall, longer than he had expected to complete, he was not able to arrive at our location until after the scheduled time, but because he and his office had kept us abreast of the situation, that was not a problem for us. Once he arrived around 9:00 p.m. he went right to work. In the course of our investigating the piping in the crawl space under our house he pointed out to me an unrelated leak that we had not been aware of and damage that the leak was starting to cause. He made recommendations for us to buy large fans to circulate air in the crawl space to dry out the moisture and then, once things dried out, to treat some mold that had started to appear. We would not have known about this leak had he not drawn our attention to it. Beyond that, he also made helpful recommendations for re-securing some A/C ductwork that had fallen loose under the house (we hadn't known about that either). After examining the configuration of the clogged drainpipe, we then went back into the house where Jeff helped us to locate and stop the leak that we had found (the water supply hose to our refrigerator had been slowly but steadily dripping for an unknown amount of time). All of this he did cheerfully and professionally even though it was beyond what we had called about at first. Once he turned his attention to the clogged pipe, he welcomed my and my son's assistance in clearing the blockage, which finally required him to climb up on the roof to run the pipe snake down the venting pipe to open up the pipe. By this time it was 11:00 at night, but he did not complain about the hour or the time it had taken to correct the problem. His demeanor was both personable and professional, even as he showed me things about our home's plumbing system that I should have already known but didn't. Based upon my experience, I would gladly recommend Roto-Rooter (and Mr. Cutshall in particular) to my friends and acquaintances for their plumbing needs.

We needed a plumber in Charlottesville to come locate our septic. We were able to get someone out to our house quickly and were very impressed with his professionalism. I was especially pleased with how clean the plumber left the inside of our house.
