Avoid at all Cost

AVOID at all cost!!! I went here to get my state inspection done, the receptionists were very grumpy, and I overheard several of the mechanics talking and they seemed to be making mistakes left and right. They also called me and told me that I needed to brakes and rotors for a total cost of 580 dollars. I knew that these parts were fine so I got my car back and took it to API auto also in Charolttesville where I was told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with by brake pads or rotors and was promptly given my passing inspection. I know several people who have gone there and been ok but you shouldn't have to worry about whether you are going to get lucky that day or not. Go to API they were amazing!
SHORT STORY:::::
1. Tried to charge me 580 dollars to pass inspection for parts which were perfectly fine
2. Mechanics seemed to be lost and very unorganized 3. Secretaries were very unfriendly
4. Go to API in Chancellorsville they are awesome!

Not happy

They put on new brakes for me. They charged a lot, stating how it was necessary to put new this and new that but then gave me a year warranty to come back and get it fixed if I wasn't satisfied so I thought ok, that's fair. Now granted, my brakes have worked since then, so I can't complain about them not working, but they are the most annoyingly loud and squeaky brakes I've EVER heard. I can't believe I'm 'that person' with the annoyingly loud car that sounds like it's cutting through a steel pipe every time I brake. They told me this was normal at first and it would go away...well it's been since July 2010 and still hasn't gone away. I need to get it looked at by someone else...did not go back here, didn't want to have them look at it after this experience

Disgraceful!!

Stay away from these guys, they bent a new wheel whilst putting on tires on my car and then Bob tried to claim it was already bent. I wish I had checked into these guys before I had taken my car there, lots of poor reviews all over the net.
