Shockingly RUDE service. They were EXTREMELY RUDE to me without provocation. My watch needed to be serviced with them for a few days so I asked for a receipt, which they had not offered me. Seems logical to me to get a receipt when leaving a $1,000 watch. Before leaving, I reviewed the receipt and politely asked a question about it. The manager/owner came over and tore up the receipt and very rudely told me they didn't want to service my watch any more. I was dumbfounded because things seemed pleasant until then. I tried pacify the shopkeeper but she just kept rudely telling me that I had been too picky and to take my business elsewhere. They did me a big favor because I found more reputable jewelers afterwards. Others were not surprised about my experience at Tuel and had horror stories of their own. There are far friendlier and more reputable shops in Charlottesville.
