Best Lawn Equipment Dealer in Virginia
by widosn
I went to the Cub Cadet Dealership there in Culpeper from Front Royal. Mr. Carter and I had a great conversation about my landscaping needs. He put me in a Zero turn Mower at a great price! This winter they picked it up for service and are returning it to me! I plan on buying my snow thrower from them this fall, They have my bussiness any time I need lawn equipment!
- Pros: Truthful, Friendly and went the extra miles
Culpeper Motor Retired - Cub Cadet Culpeper Opens
by Set The Record Straight
Reviewer above anonymously wrote review on 11/17/2009. Unfortunately, Mr. Carter opened Cub Cadet Culpeper in December 2009. Writer's concerns are with the predecessor Culpeper Motors. That business closed due to retirement of the owner in October of 2009. That business was not owned by Mr. Carter. Regretably, some service interruptions do occur during any business closing and a new one opening. The account is littered with factual errors, lacks verifiable factual information, and utilizes unsustainable inferences. The inaccurate blame against Mr. Carter, borders on slander and should be seen accordingly. Mr. Carter's reputation as a servant of his community is second to none. I am proud to call him an associate and a friend.
- Pros: Great location - excellent staff
- Cons: none known
Great Disappointment
by No THank You
I purchased a brand new (told heavy duty and long lasting) 2550 Cub Cadet from Dave Carter's company.
2 years after paying $4,000, the hood popped off 3 x's, front right wheel & axle broke twice, gas filter was damaged, and the machine was in the shop more than on my lawn.
I have written letters asking the owner, Dave Carter, to take the machine back to the manufacturer as it is a lemon.
He refuses to respond to my written requests, and keeps saying he will "make me happy" with his dealing. It's been over two months and my warranty is expiring in February.
Has anyone else had problems with the Series 2550 mower?
Does anyone have a way of making the dealership deal with the manufacturer? The manufacturer insists that I deal with the dealership and I am getting no where.
- Cons: Cub Cadet Series 2550 is a lemon. Dealership uncooperative
