Overpriced. The chowder here is pretty good. I think it's really overpriced though for what you're getting.

Overpriced Dive. Overpriced canned soup and frozen fish. No atmosphere. If you like the view stay on the outside and keep your money in your pocket for a decent meal elsewhere.

Good Find on the Way to the Sonoma County Beaches. Though off the main road, this restaurant was easy to find and was a pleasant surprise. We had to wait only 15 minutes despite arriving during the lunch rush - and decided to take a look around while our table was being prepared. The restaurant sits near the bay - and offers decent views of the water - which made the wait more pleasant. We ordered the "daily steal and deal" offered by the restaurant - which happened to be "wild salmon fish and chips" and "2 for 1 mimosas." The salmon was to-die-for and the mimosas were great. We also had their chowder (meant to be savored - not just eaten, according to their t-shirts) - and they were right...it was FABULOUS. The only reason this place didn't get the full 5 stars was because the prices were a bit high (ranging from $15-$25 for lunch) and it took awhile to get our food. But we will definitely return and recommend you do the same!

I love this place. It's what The Tides Wharf used to be before it got its facelift. It's a quiet little seafood restaurant which serves great breakfasts, terrific chowder and amazingly good dinners to locals and visitors alike, all for a very reasonable price.

Okay, so it's plain wrap. And it's also somewhat tricky to find, off the main drag down by the marina.

The guy who runs Sandpiper knows his food. Their often temperamental chefs turn out really good dinners, my favorite of which is the blackened snapper (especially because their snapper is REALLY fresh) which can pack a nice whallop. Steamed clams are also terrific, with their nice garlicky broth and some good sourdough bread. Wine list is altogether decent for a run a second restaurant, Starfish, where I've had fine meals.
