customer service is exceptional!

The store is beautiful and the

customer service has always been great! I'm always excited to see the new displays and merchandise.

They have helped me and my family furnish our homes

with beautiful quilts and paintings of Sonoma. We love this store and everything in it! We look forward to the drive to this gem of a store every other week! Thank you SummerVine for adding to the beauty of Sonoma!

Terrific selection of gifts and home decor

A terrific shop that's displayed wonderfully with a large selection of items catering to very eclectic tastes ranging from whimsical to luxuriant. The buyers have excellent taste for very high quality merchandise that you'd really rather keep for yourself than give as a gift. Although the items they carry tend to be higher quality and therefore more expensive, they are comparably priced to other stores carrying the same types of items. There were a lot of unique items that I have not seen elsewhere. The customer service was friendly and available when I needed to ask a question but the saleswomen didn't hover as I took my time trying to look at everything they have in the store....and they have plenty to look at! Parking was a bit of a challenge at noon on the city square but the store was well worth circling the block a couple of times before a space opened up.

Beautiful items, bad for out-of-towners.

I was in Sonoma on vacation and found Summer Vine on the plaza and purchased a few rather expensive gifts for a friend back home. The items in their store are highly desirable but be leary if you have to have anything shipped! We used to live in the Bay Area and try to get to wine country once a year since leaving (we are living in Austin, TX now) and hence have to have most things shipped.

The first problem was we made our purchase on a Saturday and we were told that they would not be able to ship anything until the following Wednesday, which I thought was strange but whatever (the store two doors down shipped to us the following Monday and we had our items in TX on Thursday) and they left part of our order out of the box (the top part of a hurricane lamp), so when we called they assured us that they would get it into the mail the next day, well here I sit 26 days after making my purchase still awaiting the rest of my order. I called today and was informed that it left the store 2 days ago (apparently due to another mess up on their part and the box loosing it's label in shipping?). Needless-to-say, I'm NOT impressed with their customer service at all! My suggestion to those of you shopping on holiday is to buy only what you can carry with you back home or to take your items to a shipping store independent of them!

• Cons: Bad customer service; apethetic, snobbish.

Enlightening and Rewarding Experience

This extremely beautiful home accessories shop exhibited diversity and high quality of merchandise. Everything was creatively displayed, giving the customer inspiration for personal use or gift giving. The owners support their clientelle's interests, are cheerful & excellent buyers. I travel the world and highly recommend Summervine for a creative buying experience.
