The Scene
Founded in 1914, this quaint eatery began as a candy store, ice-cream parlor and soda fountain. Located on Logan's historic Main Street, the restaurant has retained its old-time charm and ambiance, as well as the famous high-quality fare.
The Food
Menu items range from traditional dinners of chicken and roast, to yuppier items like the vegetarian croissant sandwich. Don't even try to leave the premises without sampling at least one of the many varieties of ice-cream sundaes.
Don't miss the Bluebird's delectable potato salad. Order it as a side dish, regardless of your main entrée. Also try the french fries, peanut butter pie and brownie sundae.

The Bluebird is one of those nice old fashioned style type of restaurants. They offer a variety of Mom-made type of entrees and the prices are very reasonable. My sister used this restaurant as the place for her wedding brunch. I wasn't impressed with how they handled her special day. First the room they put us in was a little cramped and it was up a set of old stairs. The food was good but they ran out of baked potatoes half way through serving half of the guests and so those that wanted baked potatoes had to pick an alternative, even though my sister had given them a total of each food item beforehand. Even though I wasn't too happy with how they handled this big event I've always been happy when going with my family on separate occasions and I will continue to go for family meals out.

We love going to the Bluebird. Everything we've tried is great. We like the Bluebird chicken and the delicious hot rolls. The interior is fun, take your kids so they can see the soda counter. Also, they have great chocolates!

We've been going to the Bluebird forever. The food isn't fabulous, but it's very cheap. They do have the best Reuben sandwich around, however. Plus, you've gotta try the Ironport - it's an institution.
