I've never had worse service

We never even got to taste the food and I'm not sad about it. We stopped here thinking it would be nice home-style food, but we realized after 15 minutes of sitting with our menus shut that we still hadn't been served. As we waited the next five minutes to catch a waitress and ask her to have someone take our order, we watched as the hostess walked past very quickly several times and look away as we tried to make eye contact. When we finally had to say something really loud to get her to come to us it had been 20 minutes. We told her that we'd been waiting for 20 minutes and she said, "okay," with no apology. Then she went back to her station in the middle of the restaurant without telling any of the waitresses that our order needed to be taken. Luckily, we were so frustrated at that point that we walked out. I would've been even more angry if I'd given any money to that place.

We visited Heber this weekend and ate at the Hub for several meals. Great alternative to fast food in pricey area. It's one of the ?hole in the wall? places the locals love! They don't play background music, but I like that. The burgers were homemade the pancakes were huge. The help was friendly and attentive. It got busy after Winterfest and they worked hard to get everyone accommodated.

My entire family stopped at The Hub Cafe for the 24th of July 2008. We had a large group and they sat us and then we waited and waited and waited. I got up and got everyone water. There wasn?t any background music and we could easily hear the other table?s conversations. The food was cold and bland. Our waitress was helping all the other tables and just left ours. It was obvious that they were understaffed. Our group consisted of 4 checks (4 couples). When we got our bills a gratuity had already been added to all our bills. I went to the cashier lady and told her that I did not get that much service to pay that gratuity. She got very upset and defensive and told me about how busy they are. I told her that I understood that they were understaffed but that I shouldn't have to pay for service that I didn't get because they are understaffed. The lady said some very rude things to my mother in law and me and called us jerks and told us to leave.
This is a hole in the wall with crappy food and horrible service. We were not asking for a free meal. We were asking to pay for the service that we got which wasn't much at all. Save yourself from wasting your money at this place and go to Wendy?s!
