Pleasantly Surprised!

We went to check this place out and almost didn't go in. The menu didn't have a lot of choices and the prices seemed a little high. But we decided to give it a try anyway. We had a great experience and it was worth every penny! I had the prime rib and my wife got the burger off the kids menu (which wasn't what I would call kids sized). The complimentary bread was soft, warm and delicious. The house vinagarette dressing was absolutely spectacular, seriously the best I've ever had. There were very few people there, but I enjoyed the well decorated western theme of the place. We had very professional and attentive service. The prime rib was very good quality, tender and juicy. Better than any I've had at Ruby River. I got the biggest prime rib, which was a lot of meat for one person! I am shocked to see the other reviews, perhaps things have improved?

over done food long wait bad service

We went to the Claimjumper on 2/14/04 and it was not that great. the food was over done way over done we waited for forty five min to get seated once we were seated it was another thirty and the wait person did not say sorry to get our order it was 80.00 dollars for our ticket. Save your money go to Don Pedros or Spring chicken inn or Chicks or even McDonalds but stay away from The Claimjumper

worst service ever

We went to the claimjumper in heber tonight. It was a little late in the evening. we arrived at 9:00

our waitress didn't offer the specials. I had to ask, we placed our order and the food arrived in a timely manner but then it got bad. Our waitress never returned. We finished our meal and waited for our check. When it hadn't been offered after 15 min. and our waitress was no where in sight we asked the busboy for the manager. She said our waitress went home. She said she thought we had allredy recieved our check. she said she was sorry but it wasn't very sincere. She didn't offer any kind of compensation at all. I was very dissapointed I will never return.
