Worst Seafood Place ever. Worst place to eat. Took us at least 30 minutes to even be greeted at the door. Long wait. Waiter was horrible. Took him forever to get drinks and appetizer order. My wife ordered a steak and it was over cooked. The waiter then told his manager (a bitter skinny woman) and she proceeded to give us ugly looks. My wife didn't want her steak after all and didn't eat it and we asked if we could take it off the ticket and the waiter said no. He asked if we wanted something else and we declined. Horrible service, horrible priced food, and horrible managing.

Best seafood in town. My friends and I went in a Friday night. There wasn't a long wait, we were greeted by our waitress immedietely, and the food was outstanding. The bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp were the best things I have tasted in a while. Our waitress was prompt and courteous without being intrusive. Would definitely go back and take a larger group of friends next time.

Great food. Recently went and had a great experience. Food was well prepared and hot. Service was friendly and timely. Have not been in a long time, but will be going back soon.

No one Cares. Take order- takes forever-staff dissapears and manager doesn't really apologize. Never going back..they need to clean house. Hire someone with half a brain.

Wow-what" Idiots. There was 3 persons to be seated. Seated immediately and the place had 2 other tables. Order for drinks taken promptly but it took a while for them to come out. The order was taken and then it took a while for the main course to come out. But get this-all I wanted was a refill of my drink. Our waiter vanished. One person said he went to go get food. While the manager(Tim) and stated that Roger(waiter) had gotten a phone call. Who is telling the truth??? Who cares. Food good. Service idiotic. Drove from Houston to visit parents and got this.

T E R R I B L E. They had just opened @ noon on a Sunday. We were seated as soon as we entered. Waitress kept dissapearing for great lengths of time. My husband ordered their special. We waited 20 minutes for them to bring us water while we waited in an overly hot atmosphere. When the the waitress finally brought our drinks she told my husband they were OUT of the special. (THEY HAD JUST OPENED!!! )

Long story short. One and a half hours out of our life, our food finally appeared. Small in portion and over-cooked. Looks like they weren't prepared for the day at all.

The bill came, tried to double charge us. Wait staff was slow, meal was overpriced, wished we had gone home to eat sandwiches.

We will NEVER go back. Nothing but excuses for bad food and poor service!

A Complete NIGHTMARE!. I agree with one of the other reviewers that I would give this restaurant NO STARS but that is not an option. This was by far the worst dining experience I have EVER had. We were seated immediately (the restaurant only had four other tables occupied) and that was the highlight of our evening. Because my son required a highchair the manager told us we would have to move from our choice of seating "because if there was a fire he would get run over"- that restaurant could only wish to burn down. Ironically, the manager was the person who seated us and knew my son required the highchair.

This place gets even better... after being relocated our drinks took about ten minutes to arrive (is a sprite and iced tea that difficult of an order?) and continued to stay empty throughout the entire meal. (The WORTHLESS manager had passed our table at least five times seeing that our drinks were empty and did NOTHING about it- I guess refills and making his guests feel welcome and happy is beneath him). The waiter said he would give us some time to look at the menu but we have never required 25 minutes to look at a menu. He finally came back to take our order and brought out a disappointing salad about ten minutes after that as the starting course to my "meal".

My husband ordered the "pound" of catfish with fries and he was lucky to get maybe eight ounces of fish, definitely not a pound. His fries were soggy strips of greasy potato that were so disgusting that he had to drown them in ketchup in order to choke them down. I ordered the shrimp scampi with alfredo sauce and linguini- single-handedly the absolute worst food I have ever eaten in my life. Instead of lethal injection, they should serve prisoners on death row this item and they would die of excessive sodium intake. It has been almost two hours since dinner and I still can't shake the salty taste from my mouth- even after consuming two bottles of water and brushing my teeth three times.

The waiter even tried my pathetic excuse for an entree and we heard him GAG in the waitstation. He immediately came out to apologize to me for the situation- the longest we had seen him the entire evening. (We didn't even know his name). I think the bartender? came over next to say that she was a "salt-a-holic" and that was even too salty for her- tell me something I didn't know!!!! On our way out practically, the manager came over to say he was sorry and had the stupidity/audacity to invite us back!? He only comped my entree because I completely refused the plate after the first bite, but the entire meal should have been on the house.

I have been in the restaurant business for over ten years now and I can guarantee to anyone that this place is a complete sham and a disgrace to the restaurant world. PLEASE do not waste your time, money or energy going to this hell-hole.

cant wait to go back. It was Friday night and we were expecting to wait for a table but we were seated immediately. Right away we were served this dip/tarter sauce that was fasntastic, we asked fo a second serving of this stuff. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and they were very good as well, we were expecting the avacado salad next but out came our entrees(the waiter forgot the salad-no problem cuz we left stuffed), the food was delicious. We topped it all off with cheesecake that was some of the best ive ever had. I cant wait to go eat there again. The atmosphere is a little plain but it was clean and comfortable. I would definately send friends/family to this place, I was suprised at the negative reviews.

Texas' worst seafood restaraunt. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! This place is horrible! We went here on a Tuesday night, there were only 4 other tables of customers in the restaraunt, and we sat for 45 mins waiting for our food. We ended up getting the food to go because we were fed up with the crappy service and wondering where our waiter went. We got home to discover that the shrimp in our diner were bad! We ended up throwing the whole meal out! $50 dinner in the trash! I called the management to let them know the seafood was bad, expecting them to refund my money and what did they offer me instead? A free meal! NO THANKS! Avoid this place like the plague, cause if you eat there you might catch it! I give this restaraunt one star only because this web site won't let me give it no stars!

greasy food, over priced. This restaurant is over rated big time. I have been there 4 times and each time it has gotten worse. The first time it passed and this was the best it has been for me. the family style ordering of the seafood is nice for families. The shrimp is tiny and greasy. The onion loaf was terrible. It was a huge clump of onions, breaded then deep fried into a rectangular loaf that was hard to get portions out of and it was full of trapped grease. The avocado salad was small and over priced. You will pay a hefty price for greasy food. the wait was long and the service was pretty bad. If you are ever in the Houston/Katy area, stop by Captain Bobs seafood and you will see what good shrimp is at affordable prices.
