Go here! We're from Kingsville and drive in every weekend and don't mind the 45 minute drive! Best sushi and Asian food in South Texas. Friendly staff, great environment, awesome, awesome, awesome!

AWESOME SUSHI

Clearly the diner below does not know what they are talking about. I am a food connoisseur and this place is by far one of the best if not the best sushi and thai restaurants I have had the pleasure to dine at. I'm beginning to think the comment below is from a competitor as it does not match up with the other reviews. This place is FANTASTIC. Keep up the good work!

Worst Sushi EVER!!!!

Contrary to the other reviews on this site ...... this is THE WORST SUSHI THAT I HAVE EVER HAD, EVER!

First of all let me start out by saying that I am a waitress at a Sushi resturant in Dallas, and I have had sushi in Dallas, Seattle, New York City, Chicago, Orlando, San Francisco even Austin, this stuff they call sushi, ISN'T!

The rolls that we ordered where not even close to what they are supposed to be nor how they traditionally are to be made! The roll part of the Rainbow roll had only a crab stick and a hug chunck of cucumber in it, no avocado, as it is supposed to have, and to top it off they put wasabi under the fish peices. ICK! AND to GROSS US OUT ......the shrimp were not deveined.

Another thing that was VERY UNSANITARY ..... the guys back there making sushi where eating and rolling sushi at the same time. This is a major NO-NO. This means that they could have put their finger in their mouth then touched the sushi that is going in your mouth! YUCKIE!!!!! and a MAJOR HEALTH CODE VIOLATION!!!!!

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE, DRIVE DOWN TO AKA FOR REAL SUSHI!

The only good thing is that the waitress was nice and friendly!
