Complaint Description:
The're charging us for an appointment that we did not make.I have called twice & they were rude & called me a liar when I said we did not make appoint Apple dental called my work & said my husband had an appointment. I said he usually tells me when he makes an appointment but has not mentioned it and that I did not think he made one.I told them they were calling the wrong number as it was a work number and anyone could anwser it. I told them he would have to call back if he made the the appointment, otherwise they needed to cancel it
.I told them we would call an make any appointments ourselves.I asked him and he said did not make an appointment with them. We did not call back because I had already told them that he would call if he made the appointment- otherwise it was a mistake and the appointment in error was to be cancelled.
We did not think more of it until we got a bill for a missed appointment. I called to remind them of my conversation with them and that there was not to be an appointment unless my husband called them back. She was very rude and said we had to pay any way . Then she said he probaly made it when he was there last and I told her that he said he did not make an appointment at that or any other time. I told her we were not paying for an appointment that we did not make and did not go to & they were to cancel unless my husband called. She continued to be abusive demanding payment & told her that I was turning them in to the Better Business Bureau for charging us for an appointment we never made. She said Go ahead.
I did not do it at that time; but got another bill today and tried to straighten it out again by calling them.
I talked with Debby and she was even more rude than the other one. I explained all of the above and she said they do not make appointments unless the customer made them. I told her he did not make it and they were told when they called to cancel the appointment
unless he called to verify he made it and would be there. She again said we made the appointment and I told her that neither my husband or myself are liars and I d o not appreciate being talked to in that manner. She then said I was calling her a liar. I said no I just knew you had made a mistake and I was trying to get it resolved.She said it did not matter what the circumstances are - we have to pay the bill. I told her I was not paying for it and was turning her over to the Better Business Bureau, which I have
So beware- IF YOU USE THEM THEY MAKE APPOINTMENTS FOR YOU THAT YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF AND DID NOT MAKE..
I have asked forDissmisal of the bill that is not ours and a letter of apology for the rude manner they handled it. I really think there should be some conquences for them making an appointment for someone and then calling and telling them about it when the person never made an appointment.Then charging them for an appointment they did not make. Ifeel this is just a way to try to get extra money from customers. We will not go back there as a result of this and I have already told them this.
