The place to stay in downtown Corpus Christi. I am a travel agent and thought I would try out this hotel on a family trip using my travel agent discount and also this hotel was a preferred property of the corporate client account I was servicing at the time. Let's just say the bayfront view was wonderful! We were high up and I loved going outside on the balcony at night...it was beautiful. Everything was within walking distance. Our sons enjoyed staying as well, they both got Omni Kids bags full of goodies. The food on their room service menu were a little pricey especially when you're traveling with kids, so when we were hungry we would go out to eat instead (may I recommend Wallbangers? Yum!). We stayed last year and are planning to go again next month and looking forward to it.…

so-so. When we got there our room wasn't ready so we had to wait 45 minutes. So, we checked our bags and left. We came back 45 minutes later and our rooms were ready so we asked for our bags and the man said he would bring them up immediately. After 30 minutes and no bags we got worried and called the lobby. We talked to the guy and he said he would bring them right away. After another hour we called and said the same thing. Finally they brought them. We were also late for our dinner reservations with friends. Ugh! When we got back there was a note about how the internet, pay per view, and games weren't working. All the prices were of course double or tripled but that is expected. The room quality was fine, nothing more than expected. Not worth anymore of my time or money!!…
